Commissions

The Parish Council and Parish Commissions serve as advisors to the pastor or administrator in his administration and leadership of the parish. Working in collaboration with the pastor, parishoners share in the responsibilities for worship, education and stewardship.

The Parish Council is comprised of the pastor, representatives of the parish commissions and at-large representatives. It functions as an advisory council to the pastor in matters of administration, worship, ministry and stewardship.

The Worship/Christian Service Commission assists the pastor in the preparation of the Liturgy and prepares the environment of the church as necessary. The Christian Service aspect of the Commission oversees the parish’s ministry to the greater community through works of charity and service. Contact the rectory office if you are interested in participating in the Worship/Christian Service Commission.

Consider getting involved at St. Jude. There are many opportunities for volunteering and sharing in the ministry of the life of our parish. Contact the rectory office for more information at 313-527-0380.
